New 2020 Nissan Juke review - is this the world's first sporty crossover to drive?

Oct 10, 2019. Nissan has taken its time with the second-generation Juke – but that doesn’t seem to have harmed sales. Despite a nine-year run, the previous version of this segment defining small SUV still left showrooms in big numbers right up to its demise – over 60,000 were sold globally last year, with well over a million finding homes since it launched in 2010.

On the trail of the Bentley Boys in the Bentley Blue Train
  • In 1930, Bentley Boy Woolf Barnato bet £100 that he could race the famous Le Train Bleu from Cannes to London before the train could reach Calais. 83 years on, Steve Cropley tells the story. In January 1930 Rover claimed its Light Six had gone faster the Le Train Bleu, one of the world's most luxurious trains, which ran from Cannes in the south of France to Calais in the north. One evening at dinner, Bentley Boy Woofe Barnato said that was nothing special, and he could race the Blue Train, reach Calais, cross the English Channel and reach the Conservative Club in London before the train arrived in Calais. He succeeded with four minutes to spare. Here, Steve Cropley retraces the Bentley Boys' London haunts in the very car than Barnato made the journey.

  • Published: 8th July 2021. Welcome to Late Brake Show Car Caves, where Jonny explores private car garages and drives one of the vehicles in the collection. This time it is the Lister Bell STR - or better known as the 1970s Lancia Stratos replica rally car. The car was featured in episode 3 of this Car Caves, where Kevin Johnson - aka Miura Man - opens the doors on his characterful Bedfordshire barn conversion full of heavenly mid-engined supercars. Thanks for stopping by The Late Brake Show. Climb onboard the ultimate Lancia Stratos rally replica - volume up for this one!
