Gardner Douglas - GD 427 Mk3 Price: POA

Last Updated On: 13/06/2016

The GD 427 Mk3, the first car to be produced by Gardner Douglas, was developed for both road and track use with a design that took its inspiration from a 60's icon. Enclosed by a GRP semi-monocoque body, the backbone design cloaks the power train and accurately locates the supension for excellent power delivery with positive and precise control.

Designed for huge V8 power, the chassis always feels taught and responsive when pushed to the limit. Fitted as standard with an all-alloy 6 litre GM LS2 V8 which puts out 400bhp, the GD 427 Mk 3 is capable of 0-60mph (97km/h) in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 160mph (257km/h). Typical touring, however, should return around 28mpg (10.1L/100km). A 7 litre GM LS7 V8 (505bhp) can be fitted as an option.

The GD 427 Mk3 is also available as a self-build project.
