Last Updated On: 02/10/2020

Ghost Series II proves a showcase for the most recent technological advances from the Rolls-Royce marque. Clad in a subtle re-design, Ghost Series II ensures the timeless yet modern quality that the marque’s customers cherish.

Powered by a twin turbo 6.6-litre V12 engine, it is virtually silent, with 80% of its torque available from idle. Coupled with the 8-speed gearbox it delivers effortless power, accelerating from 0-60mph (97km/h) in just 4.7 seconds with a governed top-speed of 155mph (249km/h).

There are many additional driver aids and technology options available that make it even more of a pleasure to drive, including the Night Vision System which can detect the body heat of pedestrians up to 300 metres away and the Head Up Display which projects driving-related information directly onto the windscreen in front of the driver.

Inside, Ghost Series ll is refined and cosseting. Entering and exiting is both effortless and graceful - thanks to the unique rear-hinged coach doors. The simple yet contemporary interior offers expanses of soft full grain leather, natural wood veneers and soft wool carpets. The cashmere-blend roof lining adds to the sense of openness and space, enhanced by the optional Panorama sunroof on Ghost. The hand-stitched leatherwork takes over two weeks to complete, with nine hides required for each interior. Each set of veneers comes from a single tree, creating a simple, seamless flow from facia to rear compartment.

The extra 17cms (6.7 inches) in length of the Ghost Series ll Extended Wheelbase (image 8) makes it the perfect passenger experience, but without affecting the exceptional driving dynamics. Apart from the increased legroom and abundance of extra space, it also features the Panorama sunroof fitted in the cashmere-blend roof lining.
